In 1968, A Bischof and Son was founded by Karl Anton Bischof who had a passion for engineering. He started at the top end of Germiston before growing and moving to Delville Germiston in 1972.

As the demand for their services grew, ABS Engineering expanded their operations and expanded into 59 Ilana road Devlille Germiston South Africa. They added new machines and equipment to their arsenal, and hired more skilled professionals to join their team.
